To begin, we'll make some traditional, irresistible brownie squares. They're delicious cold or hot, with ice cream and chocolate fudge sauce on top.
The CBD dosage is the cherry on top!
What you'll need is the following:
255g of CBD butter (you can make this by adding CBD Oil to melted butter)
100g of dark chocolate in chunks
50g cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
A square baking tin (ideally around 8 inches square)
A small amount of regular non-CBD butter for greasing the tin
Optional – 75g of the filling (walnuts, other nuts, marshmallows, chocolate chips etc)
½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract
50g plain flour
200g caster sugar
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/350 degrees Fahrenheit
In a small pan with a thick bottom, combine the CBD butter and chocolate chunks. Keep the pan on the lowest heat setting and stir regularly until the chocolate is completely melted, but take it from the heat before it gets too hot.
Mix the sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
In a mixing bowl, pour the melted chocolate.
Gently shake in the flour, cocoa, and salt with a sieve to make the powder finer, then completely mix again.
Now is the time to add any optional fillings.
Grease and line a baking tin with butter and greaseproof paper.
Pour the brownie batter into the pan and smooth it out until it's even and smooth.
Shake out any air by gently hitting the bottom of the container against anything hard.
25 minutes in the oven
Allow cooling completely
Cut into squares of similar size (you should get 12-16)
Using icing sugar, decorate the tops of the cupcakes.
Voila! A plate of scrumptious CBD brownies.
