What is the Endocannabinoid system?

Updated: Jan 22, 2022

Your endocannabinoid system, or ECS, is one of the most important systems in your body. It is responsible for regulating homeostasis within you by helping you maintain normal immune system function, a healthy brain and nervous system, balanced inflammation response and emotional well-being. It even reproduces cells!

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors, their corresponding ligands, and various enzymes involved in the regulation of these interactions.

Why should we know more about our endocannabinoid system? The quick response is that we all should be awestruck by it!

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is less well-known, is extremely important since it maintains balance for the majority of functionally relevant activities in your body!

The ECS is a collection of millions, if not billions, of molecules that may be found in cells all over the body. We call them CB1 and CB2 receptors and they love CBD! The cannabinoids found in the plant replenishes the body's supply which improves its functionality.

Why is it that the general people and our health-care providers are so ignorant of the ECS? Our goal is to educate you so that you can educate them.

If you consume CBD and are noticing the positive effects that it has on your body, document your dosage, how you are administering it & when you are taking it so that you can share this information with your physician.

Let’s all grow together!
